Interior audit in Chennai,
timed before handover.
Short answer: Yes, we inspect completed and near-complete home interiors across Chennai. A useful time to book is after installation and before final handover, so you can discuss documented findings and agree rectification with your contractor.
Line up the handover
so the audit counts.
Ask for a handover date in writing
Request the date the contractor expects to call the work complete. Plan the audit for a day or two before, so findings feed straight into their final snag round.
Agree payment and rectification timing
Review your contract and agree with your contractor when findings will be reviewed and fixes completed. An audit does not change your contractual payment obligations.
Confirm power, water and access
Electrical points, appliances and plumbing can only be tested if supply is live. Make sure the society or builder allows entry for the visit window.
Clear the shutters and drawers
Storage should be empty enough to open fully. Hardware and alignment checks need every shutter to move freely.
Share the report with the supervisor
Hand over the prioritised findings, agree a fix schedule, and consider Handover plus if you want assisted close-out.
Same audit, same prices.

Build your plan in the pricing cart if you want to pay online, or send an enquiry first. An enquiry takes no payment and does not book a visit.
Before you enquire.
Can you audit if the work is still in progress?
You can enquire at any stage and mention it in the possession status field. The full audit is most useful once installation is finished, so we will advise on timing when we reply.
What does the inspection cover?
The Core audit is a 500+ point check of materials, workmanship, hardware, finish and handover readiness, carried out on site by a senior field expert over roughly three hours. You receive a photo-backed report with each finding located by room and marked critical, major or minor.
What are the optional add-ons?
Add-ons extend the audit into areas outside the core scope: False ceiling, Civil works modifications, Electrical connections checking, Paint & Finish Quality Audit. Each is ₹1,000 and can be added in the pricing cart or mentioned in your enquiry.
Does choosing a visit slot confirm my booking?
No. A date and time you pick is a requested slot. Our team checks availability and confirms with you directly. Nothing is booked automatically, and sending an enquiry takes no payment.
Is the enquiry the same as paying?
No. The enquiry form only shares your details so we can reply with scope and availability. Payment happens separately, only if you choose to proceed through the pricing cart and checkout.
Do you work for the contractor?
No. CheckmyInteriors.com does not design, execute or take commissions. The report is prepared for the homeowner.
